Frequently Asked Questions

Where's your retail store? How do I know which size I need?
You’re standing in it! The Irish Rose is exclusively mail order, but real people are available to speak to you when you order by phone at 1-800-967-7244. Check out our handy sizing charts. If you need further information, our measuring guide can help you determine your proper size.

Why don't you have our family coat-of-arms? What do I do if I'm unhappy with my order?
Irish Rose has accumulated over 800,000 Irish and European Coat-of-Arms, but only about 600 are available for viewing on our site. We can find a crest for almost every Irish or Scottish family, but in rare instances, there is none to be found. We are able to accommodate spelling variations (for example, Doherty and Dougherty) even if your spelling isn’t listed. Call 1-888-298-5301 for more help. Please call our toll-free customer service number, 1-888-298-5301 and discuss your complaint with one of our professional representatives. View our returns and exchange policy and our guarantee.

Is there a certain way I should launder my embroidered and imprinted clothing? Is this really my family’s coat-of-arms?
The Irish Rose has some recommendations for clothing - go to the care page by clicking here. For the mugs we recommend hand-washing because the high heat of an automatic dishwasher could eventually fade the vivid art, though it will never crack or peel. The mugs are safe to use in the microwave, but again, very high temperature (boiling water in the mug) is not recommended. The people behind The Irish Rose are a family, too - 3 generations. We’ve spent many years checking and rechecking the coats-of-arms against heraldry maps, books, and other sources, and we’re completely satisfied with their authenticity. We encourage you to investigate your heraldic heritage; and we welcome all questions, comments and corrections.
